Guidelines for diabetic diet plans

There is a good plan diabetic. Not a bad diet plan.

And perhaps there is something in between.

A good diet plan.
I wake up. Check your blood sugar my glucometer. Get my diabetes medication. In my case it glyberide and Metformin.

Pres twenty minutes before eating breakfast. I eat a bowl of cereal - high in fiber. Stuff is gerbil, horse food or something to eat. I can add half a banana, cereal and milk.

Or I could eat toast with peanut butter and jam a little sugar.

I can drink a glass of orange juice or orange.

I can drink a cup of tea. I check my sugar two hours after eating.

I understand that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Bad diet plan.

I wake up. I like to take my Meds. But I can not have breakfast at a time. I can wait until I get to my destination. Then I will have something stupid like donuts and coffee.

And then the next meal, as a rule, in both cases, often TEAS. I can not help it. My family is British. Often my husband will cook. He is a good cook.

Part of the problem is keep cookies and candies at home. It is hard to resist.

I hate when I go to a party and someone says: "We have a lot of vegetables." Or he who does not have diabetes, try to tell me that what should and should not have. They may be right. I just find annoying.

I am grateful that the researcher has made my life easier.

Something in between

Keep a food diary that ha. Add to himself.
Start a hobby to keep thoughts of food.
Secure supplies - Pop popcorn, air, fruit, vegetable pieces
Drink more water, drink water before drinking anything else.
mentor. people who can coach
Give yourself a small reward

Many medical clinics seminars on how to deal with diabetes. I went to a very good, Ann Johnson Center in Toronto. One can always learn more things.

When I see diabetes several years ago, my family doctor said to take something as an incentive to stay healthy. I think your body as an Oldsmobile car. Maintenance my body is high.

Tom, I got diabetes, I do not know. There is no point brooding. I have an illness and is not going away. I need to take care of yourself and do not worry.
